What do I think about the drugstore Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder highlighter?

Likewise, all that shines is not a “Highlighter”. So let’s see if it’s true about Wet and Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder.

I am sorta fancy all makeup products, and always very enthusiastic to swatch everything if I could…you can call it my madness. Being said that, I wanted to refrain from spending too much on cosmetics, especially highlighters as I barely use them. After searching for the best drugstore highlighter, I came across Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder.

What do I think about it?

So the shade I bought is Golden Flower Crown. I chose golden so that I can use it as an eyeshadow as well.

Wet and Wild mega glow highlighting powder looked appealing when I first took a glimpse of it at the store. Yeah! It was indeed very shiny and shimmery. I knew this highlighter would solve its purpose by sitting on the top of my cheekbones, brow bone, and cupid’s bow and reflecting light to give me that natural glow.

It is a beautiful drugstore highlighter that gives a subtle glow. Unlike some highlighters that give a prominent shine and are hard to apply (viz. Revolution). Again it depends on how you apply it. However, I love to use a regular brush (Not a fan brush) or fingers to the rescue. It is pretty pigmented. Being said that, you need very little to use it and that will last you long beyond its expiration date 😅. It goes like an easy-breezy highlighter powder. Meaning, it blends effortlessly and won’t let you engage in front of the mirror for a long time.

Undoubtedly, it is a fan-fav highlighter and always in demand.

As far as the color is concerned, I got the Golden Flower Crown and I think this one is way too shiny for me as it has a golden hue but is good for using as an eyeshadow though. I think the “Blosson Glow” would have been a great choice for minimalists like me. Being said, I am still happy with my purchase and looking forward to keeping it in my bag forever.

Final thoughts

Honestly, I think this one is the far best drugstore highlighter available in the market. Everybody knows that we all try to accommodate according to our budget and convenience. Hence, I would definitely recommend it. After all, it’s an art to pull off what you wear.
