Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask Review

Due to its alleged benefits, charcoal face masks are currently a hot topic among skincare lovers and beauty vloggers. The main component, activated charcoal, which is well recognized for its purifying qualities, they have a dark tint. Masks with charcoal work well to treat oily skin and get rid of dirt.

I have also reviewed Origins GINZING Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff. It is also a great product from Origins.

Why did I buy a $28 (USD) mask?

The internet is still flooded with Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask reviews.  I observed that many of them had a terrific experience even after having acne-prone skin and breakouts. So much of a good talk, I found it very intriguing otherwise I would have never thought of buying it. You might have read several times that I am a victim of hormonal acne for over the past 2 years that not saying “goodbye” . That’s the reason I thought this could at least be helpful to keep acne at bay and save my face by clearing gunk or impurities caused by dirt and pollution.

Charcoal masks seem to have gotten a lot of attention for their benefits. They say it helps remove impurities and make your pores look clearer and smaller.

I wanted to get rid of skin care products that are not helping me anymore or reduce or balance my acne-prone skin. The Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask showed me a ray of hope and it was the moment I had to shake hands with this mask.

What does Charcoal Mask do?

When the mask is cleansed, the impurities are gone because the charcoal particles in these masks absorb excess oil and draw out dirt and filth from pores. In addition, the mild coarseness of the charcoal particles gently exfoliates the skin by removing dead skin cells. Skin that is thoroughly cleansed, supple, and renewed is the end result.

The large surface area of charcoal particles and their propensity to chemically bind with other substances and that’s its special features. The actual charcoal particles are often well tolerated and infrequently cause issues.

How often do I use it?

It is recommended to use it on makeup-free skin, open pores with a warm, moist towel, and layer a mask. Allow to dry and rinse. Use once a week or as often as needed.

I use it once a week or sometimes twice a week after cleansing my face. Sometimes use it alternate weeks after face massage with a homemade recipe.

What it does.

As the company claims, it is Formulated with Bamboo Charcoal & White China Clay, this charcoal mask acts like a magnet to deep clean & draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, impurities & debris.

The formula is without.

As the company claims, Parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin, diethanolamine (DEA), polyethylene beads.

Why do I like it?

Years after the quest for the right face mask, I am going to settle with Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask. However, there is a little drawback as this product is pricey and costs $28 (USD) for just 2.5 fl. Oz.

Being said that, you don’t need a lot of product to apply a layer on your face, comparatively for a single application. It is so soft, smooth, and sort of gooey. On top of it, very easy to spread. The formula is awesome that gives a feather-soft feeling after the wash. So far, this one is the second charcoal mask I have tried. Trust me, I am being very honest when I say that this is the best charcoal masque that really works.

It gives a feeling of clean and clear face just after single application.

Quite a fantastic mask. It does not at all dry out your skin, which is uncommon for a mask of this kind. I can say it is suitable for all skin types except sensitive skin as it might give a burning sensation.

After rinsing the mask off, the texture of the skin becomes soft and supple. The effect is very spurring. I am going to repurchase this mask in the future.

Honestly, I did not see a huge difference in the appearance of the pores or a fading of the dark spots. However, result is phenomenal. My greasy t-zone was matte with no shine at all. The mask had worked as a massive sponge, sucking out all the blockage material and extra oil with it.

I have been using this for the last 3 months and it did not cause any breakout or any skin issues. I am hooked on it and definitely going to buy it again.

So, let me know what is your favorite face mask so far.

Thank you.
